The Journey of Choice: Alice's Awakening in Wonderland

Chapter 1: The Illusion of Choice
In Tim Burton’s adaptation of “Alice in Wonderland” (2010), we follow Alice as she embarks on a profound journey into her Soul.
In the context of traditional England, a woman's only acceptable path is to secure a prosperous marriage, regardless of her individual talents. However, Alice is far from conventional. She is the daughter of a visionary inventor, raised on tales of adventure and distant lands.
As Alice matures, she loses sight of her dreams and now finds herself at a wedding ceremony, poised to marry a pompous, self-absorbed aristocrat. Is this truly her aspiration?
Fortunately, a White Rabbit dashes by and leads her down his hole, which symbolizes a dive into the unconscious realm. What does Alice discover? A preordained plan awaits her, with a Brave Day on the horizon.
Her first instinct is to evade confrontation, which leaves her old acquaintances puzzled: “This cannot be the same Alice.” As she faces one challenge after another, she uncovers new dimensions of herself, fortifying her spirit and gearing up for the battle ahead.
Does she possess a choice—to retreat or to stand her ground? Indeed, she does.
One can choose to ignore the call, to sidestep the challenge, resulting in potential remaining dormant and unfulfilled. The purpose for which one is born may languish amid the trivialities of life.
Obstacles will invariably arise, hindering and undermining any pursuit. While one may feel powerless against these forces, one must consider the cost and outcome of a life unfulfilled.
As Clarissa Estes articulates in “She Who Runs with the Wolves” (my narration is available), the cost is entrapment! Until Alice confronts the Predator, she remains ensnared in her unconscious world. For without conquering internal battles, external change remains elusive.
What empowers Alice to abandon the façade of marriage and forge her own path? She must harness the courage to confront her fears and make choices that resonate with her Soul.
It is through her inner exploration that Alice finds the resolve to reject a prescribed fate and pursue her own dreams—much like her father did. This has been her lifelong aspiration.
She must confront Dragons—some to be tamed, others to be vanquished. The Predator, in particular, must be tracked down and subdued. The film illustrates that Alice is supported by various characters; no one triumphs in isolation, and preparation is essential for significant confrontations.
To break free from negative influences that obstruct happiness, one must embrace the Soul's challenge and seek the necessary support.
It’s crucial to harmonize the hero’s journey (solar myth) with the lunar journey (feminine myth), which emphasizes reflection, meditation, and solitude. These two paths oscillate: moments of tension and relaxation, swift and slow movements.
We should not coerce ourselves or others to change but rather allow for natural growth and maturation.
The first video, The Stanley Parable and the Illusion of Choice - Part 1, delves into the concept of choice and how it shapes our experiences. This video provides insights into the narrative structure and the philosophical questions regarding free will.
Chapter 2: Embracing the Journey
The second video, Let's Play Sea Of Thieves | New Vid Bud Reveal!, showcases the excitement of exploration and adventure, mirroring Alice's journey as she confronts her own challenges and discovers new horizons.
