Embracing the Journey: It's Never Too Late to Begin Your Path

Chapter 1: Reflecting on the Timing of Our Spiritual Journeys

Recently, a thought lingered in my mind. As I met inspiring teachers and fellow lightworkers over the years, I found myself pondering how many of them embarked on their spiritual paths at a much younger age.

"Why am I only beginning now?"

While many remarkable individuals encountered their spiritual awakenings in their twenties or even during childhood, my own journey commenced a few years ago, around the age of 35.

Yet, from within, another thought emerged.

"What insights do I possess now that I might have missed if I had started earlier?"

Section 1.1: The Weight of Comparison and Self-Doubt

I believe that eventually, we all encounter the well-known phrase about trusting the process. However, despite feeling increasingly guided and supported, which has helped me develop greater trust in my own journey, I still find myself comparing my path to those of other lightworkers.

Being at the outset of my journey, trying to discern my purpose, often leaves me feeling insecure and questioning my worthiness to identify as a lightworker.

#### Subsection 1.1.1: Understanding Our Unique Paths

Reflecting on personal journeys and their significance

As this alternate question arose within me, I began to recognize the value of my unique journey. Before I turned 35, I appeared to have it all—a marriage, motherhood, and success in my IT career—yet I was gradually losing touch with my true self.

While my marriage deteriorated, I felt overwhelmed in my role as a mother and lost my inner spark. Eventually, following a divorce, I embarked on a new chapter of my life.

Had I awakened to my spirituality sooner, I might have bypassed many of these challenges. However, having navigated these experiences has deepened my understanding of other women facing similar struggles, allowing me to better support their healing journeys.

Although I'm still uncovering what lies ahead, I am already aware of the invaluable lessons I've gained.

If you question the worth of your own journey or feel you began late, consider asking yourself: What do you now understand that you might not have recognized had you started earlier?

Section 1.2: Cultivating Self-Assurance Amid Doubt

The emergence of another question has helped me shift my perspective: how I manage my inner dialogue. Growing up in a critical environment led to a harsh inner critic, but as I chose to become my own ally and guide, I discovered the power of reframing questions to alter my outlook.

In recent years, I've also cultivated a deeper connection with my Spirit Guides, Guardian Angels, and ultimately with God. I've learned to notice signs like feathers and repeating numbers, and to request further guidance and affirmation.

I began setting intentions for the Universe and praying for direction. Initially skeptical about trusting and having faith, my confidence in the process developed gradually.

Now, when I reflect on the myriad signs and synchronicities I've encountered, it becomes evident that there is indeed divine guidance along my path. Many occurrences have felt too perfectly timed to be mere coincidences.

The support and wisdom I have received from various teachers have been precisely what I needed at each moment. I don't believe God asks for blind faith; rather, I've been shown consistent signs of support and assurance.

So, if you find yourself uncertain and in search of guidance, consider starting by requesting signs and synchronicities that can help you cultivate trust.

It's not necessary to leap into the unknown without assurance. It’s perfectly acceptable to seek confirmation. Prioritizing what resonates for us in our spiritual connections is more crucial than adhering to conventional norms.
